WHO we are
Cambodian Celestial Dance group is an independent Cambodian performing arts group based in Northern Virginia. It is under the direction of renowned master teacher and Cambodian traditional arts dancer Devi Yim Dos, a graduate of Cambodia's Royal University of Fine Arts and special appearances by master teacher Sochietah Ung.
Our performances consist of intricately costumed dancers and music played by a pin-peat ensemble. It was performed to call upon the gods and spirits and express respect to the royal courts and guests. Our dance capture emotions and imaginations by delivering true feelings behind each character they portray through body movements, postures, and intricate expressions.
